Kelsey McLaughlin, MA, LMFT  - Lino Lakes

Our lives are far from simple.  Each day is brimming with unique challenges, and we are all situated in relationships that either bolster our success or hinder our growth.  Whether the relationship of focus is with yourself, a partner, a coworker, a friend, or a family member, relational distress has the potential to make the management of our hurdles and triumphs complex.  Reorienting ourselves within these relationships and resituating ourselves within these struggles makes it possible to restore patterns of hope.

Kelsey enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples. She has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families with a variety of mental health concerns.

Kelsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Lino Lakes location. She can be contacted at 515-202-5365 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Kelsey sees clients Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Therapy is a way to safely and effectively bring these things to light.  It is a way to unfold our stress, process our pain, rewire our brains, and reconnect with intention.  Kelsey’s attention to partnership, commitment to non-judgment, and spirit of curiosity in the room make the process of therapy dynamic, useful, and trustworthy.  Believing that all people have the power to create change, Kelsey seeks to highlight the overlooked strengths and resources that are present in each client.

It is her sincere belief that when working collaboratively with clients, meaning can be reclaimed in vulnerable places that once felt hopeless.  It has been Kelsey’s joy to see resiliency bloom and courage be found within the lives of the individuals and families she has walked alongside.

Kelsey utilizes a person-centered, eclectic approach to therapy that brings to bear past relationships, present problems, and future possibilities.  She focuses on relational realities, attachment patterns, and the intersection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.  Her work emphasizes empathy and validation in addition to helping clients make meaningful change and lasting progress.
