Lindsay has been there. She understands the power of a supportive therapeutic relationship in overcoming challenging times. Described by her colleagues as playful yet firm, Lindsay meets her clients where they are at while walking alongside them to where they want to be. Lindsay has worked in residential treatment, partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, and outpatient therapy. She has served adolescents and adults with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and self-esteem issues. Lindsay utilizes many CBT and DBT principles in her sessions and believes that everyone can benefit from learning skills to manage emotions.
Lindsay has a cavapoo dog named Shea who she is obsessed with. Lindsay loves being outdoors. Her favorite metaphor as a therapist is referring to challenges as a mountain. “Mountains know secrets we need to learn. Lindsay is pursuing LPCC licensure under supervision of Breanna Heintzelman, MA, LMFT, CDWF. Lindsay received an undergraduate degree from University of Northwestern – St. Paul, and earned a Master’s degree from Bethel University.
