Fawn Vogt holds licensure as both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Fawn has worked in mental health and chemical dependency fields for 20 years giving her a wealth of knowledge and varying clinical expertise. Through this experience Fawn has worked with adolescents, adults, and families assisting them in creating a life worth living. Her therapeutic demeanor is one of empathy, support, and compassionate challenging for growth. Fawn has experience using multiple therapeutic approaches and uses these approaches to best meet the needs of her clients. She acknowledges an inherent need for all individuals to be heard, validated, and listen to, this approach is maintained throughout all her therapeutic practices. Currently, Fawn predominantly uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in individual, group, and family therapy. She has received specialized training and has provided intervention through this framework throughout her career. Within DBT, an individual is taught skills to increase mindfulness, improve the ability to manage distress and emotions, and be more effective in relationships. Working on these skills maintains the goal of creating and sustaining a life worth living. Fawn also is a certified Yoga Calm instructor, assisting clients and understanding the mind body connection.

Fawn acknowledges a need for continued professional growth and thus, focuses time towards increasing her clinical expertise and knowledge to assist her clients in the best way possible. Fawn is working to increase her knowledge of how past trauma impacts as individuals in their day to day life. She is currently working towards certification Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

-Bachelor of Science with a double major in Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies from University of South Dakota.
