    Many times, someone may believe choosing to start therapy means they are admitting defeat or that they are not “strong”. However, I believe it is actually the opposite. I believe that seeking out therapy means you are strong enough to admit that you need a guiding hand with whatever you may be going through at the moment and help working through whatever challenges you are facing before they become unmanageable. I strongly believe that all people are capable of overcoming so much more than they thought possible. As a therapist I utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to help you work through any challenges you are facing in your life. I am also a firm believer that having a sense of humor helps in almost every situation, so you can expect me to use humor in my therapy sessions with you. I would be grateful to walk with you as you navigate through this journey, we call life. You don’t have to do it alone!
