Therapy is an incredibly brave act of self-love that often feels intimidating and uncertain at first. We all need and are inherently worthy of spaces in our life where we feel seen and understood. I deeply value creating a safe and non-judgmental dynamic of exploration, understanding and trust within my therapeutic relationships with clients. In a direct yet affirming way, my goal is to support my clients in honoring each part of themselves and their story, while also moving towards growth that is authentic to who they want to be. Because YOU are the expert on your life, I take a strengths-based approach to emphasize the wisdom you already have on your journey through transformation and healing. I value bringing humor, compassion, curiosity, and tangible knowledge/skills into sessions. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), having my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I see therapy as a collaborative effort, tailoring my eclectic approach to the unique needs of each of my clients. This often includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Attachment Theory. I am a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist and am currently working towards EMDRIA certification.

Some of my areas of interest and experience include:

    • Individual and intergenerational trauma
    • Identity development, self-esteem, and individual empowerment
    • Relationship challenges
    • Coping skill development
    • Men’s Issues
    • Grief and Loss
    • Adjustments and life transitions
    • Generalized and social anxiety
