    Liz feels that the therapeutic relationship sets the foundation for the course of therapy. She is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She works to create an accepting, judgement-free space for folks of all backgrounds and identifies to safely explore and process through life’s challenges. Liz is here to meet you where you are at on your unique journey, and to walk alongside you toward your desired healing.

    Liz believes that as humans, we are meaning-making beings; Arranging our relationships, interactions, and experiences into personal stories about who we are, and what we are capable of. These stories, often influenced by our upbringing, environment, and culture, can have a great impact on our personal and relational well-being.
    Working from a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, Liz strives to empower individuals in identifying and re-writing unhelpful personal stories in order to develop a life and relationships in alignment with their own values and unique needs.

    Liz earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and is pursuing MFT licensure under the supervision of Breanna Heintzelman, MA, LMFT, CDWF. Previously, Liz completed her Bachelor’s degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota.

    Outside of the therapy office, Liz enjoys getting lost in a good book, and spending time in nature through hiking, camping, and gardening!
