Sam Enstad, MA, LADC, Psychotherapist
Do you want help finding the best version of yourself?
It can be challenging to create time and space to come into therapy. We have a lot of pressures and responsibilities day to day. Sam invites you to make the call and schedule time to invest in YOU. With unresolved matters of emotion, relationships, past experiences, comes disconnection from one’s authentic self, from loved ones, even from day to day experiences. Therapy is a commitment to create that time and space for you, your family, your partner, wherever you would like to start. Therapy provides a safe and effective way in which to discover and reconnect to one’s emotions, communicate more effectively in relationships, process experiences and tap into future ambitions. It is a way to unfold our stress, process our pain, rewire our brains, reconnect with our intuition and tap in to our full potential. Sam sees clients Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Sam is a Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor and also working towards her Licensure in Clinical Counseling at the Buffalo location. Sam enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples. She has clinical experience working with adolescents, adults and families with a variety of mental health concerns.
I believe in joining my clients through a person-centered approach, providing unconditional empathy, utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness, emotional wellness education, and coping skills.
My therapeutic style focuses on thought-emotion-body connection patterns, relational realities, attachment patterns, and the intersection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. As your therapist I will provide active listening, care, empathy, support, and creativity, to support you in finding meaningful change and lasting progress in your therapeutic journey.
Sam is working towards her LPCC licensure.
