What we sow into others has an ongoing impact and ripple effects. As a counselor, I see my role as a bridge to growth, healing, and hope for others. Knowing that the counseling journey involves vulnerability and can sometimes feel intimidating, I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative, and confidential space where clients feel empowered to share, heal, and grow. Life’s challenges, transitions, and hardships were never meant to be walked through alone. I am deeply committed to supporting and empowering individuals, couples, and families as they navigate their unique paths towards healing and growth. I strive to be an advocate for others, equipping them with the tools and resources needed for their personal well-being. Embracing a holistic approach, I acknowledge the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. My therapeutic approach includes a variety of cognitive, emotional, somatic, and spiritual techniques, tailored to each client’s specific challenges and aspirations. Together, we will work to explore and uncover the root causes of issues, aiming to facilitate healing, foster personal growth, and ignite lasting change and transformation. Throughout the counseling journey, I aim to nurture a positive and resilient self-perception within clients, guiding them towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
As a counseling intern pursuing my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bethel University, I desire to work with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of diverse challenges, including anxiety, depression, unspecified trauma, body-mind connections, life transitions, postpartum health, parenting, and relational issues. In my practice, I integrate various therapeutic models including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Family Systems. Additionally, I have a passion for group therapy, recognizing its capacity to remind participants they are not alone in their experiences. Group therapy provides participants with invaluable insights, fostering collective growth through collaboration, communication, empathy, and compassion. In this dynamic space, every participant, including the counselor, learns and evolves together, enhancing each other’s lives through diverse perspectives, shared experiences, and understanding.
Navigating life journey demands courage, bravery, and balance. I believe that seeking help is a courageous step towards healing and wellness. I consider it an honor to partner with individuals, couples, or families as they navigate their unique healing journeys. As a counselor, I intend to provide unwavering support, standing alongside my clients with encouragement and nonjudgmental guidance every step of the way.
