Breanna Heintzelman, MA, LMFT, Clinical Supervisor
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Approved Supervisor for the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy, as well as an Approved AAMFT Supervisor and a Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My work focuses on improving communication, fostering emotional resilience, and guiding clients toward a life that feels meaningful and rewarding.
I provide therapy and co-facilitate several group therapy groups in Buffalo. Additionally, I serve as a Clinical Supervisor, CEO and Co-Owner for Bridging Hope Counseling, supporting other clinicians in their professional growth.
My Approach
Therapy can feel intimidating at first, and my goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. I deeply value the stories my clients share and believe they are the true experts of their own experiences. By working collaboratively, we uncover challenges, explore new perspectives, and develop practical tools for change.
I also recognize the profound impact of relationships on emotional well-being. Whether with family, friends, or colleagues, our relationships shape how we navigate the world. That’s why I encourage incorporating important people into therapy when beneficial—because healing and growth often happen within connection.
My Background & Training
I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Experiential Play Therapy and Narrative Therapy, tailoring my approach to best support each client’s unique needs.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from The College of Saint Benedict and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University.
