There is no one size fits all in the world of mental health. As a clinician, I believe each individual has a unique story that is made up of a compilation of moments and hardships.

My hope as a counselor is to offer space for individuals and families to have safety in exploring life and its often uncertain instances. I believe that a positive, curious, empathic, trusting and kind therapeutic relationship is a critical key between client and counselor. I also believe well being goes beyond the counseling room in that an individual is made up of their mental, physical and spiritual parts. My hope as a counselor is to walk alongside each individual, unique client (and their families) to support growth in all walks of life.

I currently hold a masters degree in counseling psychology from Bethel University and am pursuing licensure as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with children, adolescents and young adults and families. Specifically I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression and unspecified trauma. I utilize numerous models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Non-Directive Play Therapy, and Theraplay.

I believe that in life we are a product of many different influences and we are constantly looking to be better versions of ourselves. Life’s difficulties and hardships are not meant to be walked through alone. I believe it takes strength to seek support, and I would be honored to walk through life with you.
