I believe everyone is trying their best with the skills and the knowledge they have available, and I want to be there to support you by giving you the tools that can help you reach your goals and make meaningful change. You are the expert on your life, and I want to support and work with you to help you grow and thrive.
No two people or families are alike, and your therapy should reflect the things that are important to you. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic models and theories such as: person centered, strengths based, family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults, in various settings, and can help address different areas such as:
· Depression
· Anxiety
· ADHD
· Interpersonal communication
· Family conflict
· Parenting skills
· Coping skills
· Emotional regulation
· Self-Esteem
· Life transitions
· School and work stress
I believe work life balance is important, and when I’m not working, I love to try new things, whether that’s a restaurant that just opened, watching a TV show, or learning something new. I also enjoy curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book, watching musicals, and crafting. I look forward to learning about who you are as a person, and working together to help you make positive changes in your life.
