I am so excited that you’ve taken the step to begin therapy! Starting therapy can be scary and powerful at the same time. You are the expert of your life and I’m here to help you discover all of your potential. I truly believe everyone has the ability to be happy in their life, so thank you for letting me walk alongside you in that journey. I prioritize creating a welcoming, safe, and trustworthy environment for all my clients. I will bring positivity, warmth, expertise, and a non-judgmental stance to our sessions together.

Prior to working at Bridging Hope Counseling, I spent 5 years working with children and families in school settings. Alongside that, I also spent time practicing therapy in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center with teens. I have worked with varying degrees of socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities, ranges of behaviors, ages, trauma backgrounds and many mental health diagnoses. At Bridging Hope Counseling, I will provide therapy for a wide range of clients. I will be available to do therapy in person or via telehealth.

I believe therapy is unique to every person, as every person’s needs are vastly different. With that, I will utilize many different techniques, therapeutic approaches, coping strategies and skills teaching to best meet your needs. I will use a strengths-based approach with everyone for the foundation of developing the best goals for moving forward.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master’s of Clinical Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. I also earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Child Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University and Minot State University.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new places and traveling. I also enjoy a good vanilla latte, baking, spending time outdoors or watching a good show on Netflix.
